Jesus spoke a lot about quality leadership being exercised through acts of service. The first will be last sort of thing. Our culture is more and more gravitating towards a leadership style that's isolationist in nature with a concurrent , memo-driven, micromanaged, "strain a gnat, swallow a camel" component. Whether you go to Target, Wal*Mart, the supermarket, a restaurant, auto dealership, bank or wherever, the atmosphere is often palpably similar and stale. Human ingenuity and gifts of men are certainly stifled as the strife between the working classes fosters an atmosphere of discontent and apathy. Hopefully this will change soon.
