The Fruit of Selective Law Enforcement

On Monday, May 1, millions of legal and illegal immigrants will take to the streets in cities laddened with welfare dollars to protest not being treated "equal," as they define equal. America asked for this. Failure to enforce existing laws instructs others that "said laws" are not really laws. Now that law enforcement has looked the other way for too long, many illegals now occupy many paying jobs in America. As such, we face a lose-lose proposition. Round 'em up and kick 'em out would create a little havoc with the economy. Process them all to keep things rockin' then you codify the first error and invite further problems. Such is the fruit of political pragmatism...
