Gators Staying out of Trouble

University of Florida football coach Urban Meyer appointed a 16-member leadership council to deal with player behavior, team policy and academic affairs. Accountability is expected in the classroom, the weight room, on the field and while in Partyville. Thus far the council has had little work which speaks of the program's success.

The system is not too dissimilar from a biblical system. (I Corinthians 6:4 "If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. 5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? 6 But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.")

Whatever the issue biblical models always outperform man's models. The Gators are reaping the benefits of self-government at the "expense" of using the system provided by the bloated central government.
